Summer school in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of I.S.Shklovsky

Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) and P.N. Lebedev Physical Institute (LPI) organize the International School — Twelfth Summer School of Modern Astrophysics. The school takes place from 20 June to 1 July 2016 at the MIPT campus in Dolgoprudny near Moscow. The school is primarily aimed at graduate students and postdocs and will be limited to about 50 participants. The working language of the school is English.
Plan: First three days participants attend the International Conference “All-Wave Astronomy. Shklovsky-100” in Moscow. Sunday June 26th is free.

Venue:
The school will be held in the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology at the Dolgoprudny campus which is located 1 hour by public transport (metro and train) from the Moscow city center. MIPT has all the facilities: modern lecture halls and classrooms, etc. All school staff and students will be housed in a comfortable hotel at the campus of the MIPT.
